Modmath is assistive technology that helps students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other learning or physical challenges write and solve math equations using digital graph paper, replacing the need for pencil, paper, or a scribe. Modmath is not a calculator, it does not do the work for you. Instead, it allows students to build numeracy and write everything from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and calculus, and now includes graphing functionality for plotting equations. It’s available as a web app that runs on all modern browsers including Chromebooks, and as a native app for iPad and Android. New features include importing assignments from Google Drive, a native file format for easy file sharing, single sign on (SSO) with Google, Apple, and Microsoft, and a fully accessible user interface that includes screen reader and keyboard navigation for equations.
