Subject: Investing in Sustainability: Enhancing Our Assistive Technology Loan Guarantee Partnership

Description: For years, our alternative financing program has broken down barriers for individuals with disabilities by providing vital loan guarantees for assistive technology (AT). This presentation celebrates the longevity and proven track record of our core lender partnership while marking a major milestone in our program’s evolution.

Join the Maryland AT Financing Program as we outline the key mechanics of our lender agreement – including both secured and unsecured guaranteed loans – and share an exciting new enhancement: the ability for our program to earn interest on these loans. By detailing how this interest-earning component works, the presentation highlights a strategic shift toward financial sustainability. Attendees will see how these new earnings will be reinvested directly into our guarantee fund, recycling capital to ensure long-term program viability and expanding our capacity to empower more individuals with the technology they need to thrive.

Participants: This CoP is open to all AT Act Program staff and subcontractors interested in State Financing Activities.
