Subject: Alternative Financing Programs (AFP) Grantee Showcase
Description: The Administration for Community Living’s (ACL) Alternative Financing Program (AFP) provides grants to establish or expand programs — including low-interest loan funds, revolving loan funds, loan guarantees, and other financing options — to help people purchase assistive technology (AT). In this session, three AFP grantees — the Louisiana Assistive Technology Access Network (LATAN), Michigan Assistive Technology Loan Fund, and Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST) — will share highlights, outcomes, and lessons learned from their programs.
