This Community of Practice focuses on the ins and outs of state financing activities, including but not limited to alternate financing (e.g., cash loan programs); device distribution programs; cooperative buying; and other strategies that help people acquire AT.
Subject: Building a Better Funding Resource: Colorado’s AT Funding $ources Platform
Description: Discover how Colorado’s Center for Innovative Design and Engineering (CIDE) has developed their newly launched AT Funding $ources platform. This fresh online resource streamlines access to assistive technology funding information for Colorado residents. Learn about CIDE’s development process, from initial concept to public release, including their strategies for organizing funding sources and creating an accessible user experience. This session will provide valuable insights for AT Act programs interested in developing similar funding resources for their states and territories.
Participants: This CoP is open to all AT Act Program staff and subcontractors interested in State Financing Activities.
