Title: Marketing & Outreach Strategies for State Financing Programs

Description: How are state financing programs marketing their services, attracting borrowers, building referrals, and reaching rural areas? In this session, we’ll take an honest, practical look at what marketing and outreach strategies are working — and what’s not — across our programs.

Natalie Rohwer, Program Manager for Financial Loans at Oklahoma ABLE Tech, will open with a look at how Oklahoma approaches marketing and outreach across their broader program. She’ll share what’s driving their referrals, how they work alongside other core programs, and her plan for reaching rural communities.

Natalie’s presentation will serve as a springboard into a broader peer discussion. We want to hear from you. Programs will have time to share what marketing and outreach looks like for them.

Come prepared to share:

  • What challenges does your program face when it comes to marketing State Financing?
  • What marketing and outreach approaches are working for your program — and what isn’t?
  • How does your program plan for high demand? What happens when a successful campaign brings in more applicants than you can serve?

Whether your program is doing a lot or a little, your perspective adds value to the conversation. This is a no-pressure, peer-learning space.

Participants: This CoP is open to all AT Act Program staff and subcontractors interested in State Financing Activities.
