This Community of Practice focuses on practices and problem solving in device repair, redistribution, recycling (both reassignment and open-ended loan), and device exchange by developing resources and addressing reuse policy issues.
Subject: Fiscal Sustainability
Description: The ReUse program in Georgia, FODAC (Friends of Disabled Adults and Children) is celebrating 40 years of successfully distributing HME items to those needing medical equipment. The CEO, Chris Brand, will share strategies for obtaining funding from grants, foundations, state contracts, federal grants, and other sources of revenue that have been effective for FODAC over the years. The session will also seek input from other states to share their success with maintainable financial resources.
Participants: This CoP is open to all AT Act Program staff and subcontractors interested in Reuse Activities.
