This CoP supports AT Act Program staff, subcontractors, and other external partners responsible for implementing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) accessibility initiatives.

Subject: Creating Accessible Digital PowerPoint Presentations

Description: Accessible digital content ensures that materials are designed to be usable by the widest possible audience. This training provides the essential principles, tools, and resources required to create inclusive and professional PowerPoint presentations.

Participants will gain practical experience in crafting effective alt-text and utilizing color contrast tools to ensure visual clarity for all viewers. Additionally, the session will cover document navigation—specifically reading order—and demonstrate how to leverage the built-in Accessibility Checker to verify and polish your final product.

Please note that all concepts will be demonstrated using a MacBook Pro.
